Save the date! September 30-October 1, 2016
Please join us in hands-on, family-style workshops: from student to hobbyist to career artists to retiree. Sessions are open to the public, facilitated by local women & hosted by The 400 in RVA. Sign up HERE! Workshops are free this go-around, so sign up to join the sessions that interest you most. (All skill levels welcome.)
We’ll put the kettle on at 7 – 7.30 pm Friday night (Sept 30th) with a brief intro & chance to catch our breath after the work week. This is where we hunt through Scripture & gather to make sense of God’s work in our lives, together. Having taken in some coffee & tea, we’ll break into workshops Friday night and again on Saturday morning, where we get down with techniques & refresh skills that have laid dormant. For a complete list of the workshops being offered, keep reading.
You can register for the Hunt.Gather Fall Creative Retreat by clicking HERE! In addition to the workshops, we will also be hosting a catered lunch on Saturday for all participants. The lunch will be $5, and you can pay in advance using the registration form. Also feel free to bring your own lunch, stay and chat after workshops!

Writing as Repentance (Megan Clinch & Alyssa Jiménez)
Let’s move outdoors & around the question, What does it mean to have a redeemed voice? If you have an ongoing journal, a favorite writing utensil, bring it! Kindly note: This will be an unplugged, devices-on-silent session, pens & paper session. If the skies permit, we will be outside.
Open Studio & Idea Swap (Blue Stubblefield)

All skill levels in any medium are welcome, whether written or craft or fine art. Some materials provided: paint, pens, glue, brushes, stamping supplies. Feel free to bring personal materials that interest you: photos, fabric remnant, textured paper, an old book.
